Action for Disadvantaged People (ACDIPE) is a non-profit Organization located in Kagoma along Bombo Road in Wakiso District. It was established in September 2007 and fully registered with the National NGO-Bureau under Reg. No.INDR7174583NB as a humanitarian and community development organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children, women, youth, and families in Uganda and beyond.
Founded with a mission to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to underserved communities, ACDIPE works to address critical challenges affecting vulnerable populations through health care support, education, child protection, nutrition, community empowerment, and humanitarian interventions.
One of ACDIPE’s flagship initiatives is the “Save a Life” Program which focuses on supporting children born with congenital and acquired heart diseases. Through partnerships with hospitals, medical specialists, donors, volunteers, and well-wishers, ACDIPE has successfully helped save the lives of more than 600 children by facilitating access to diagnosis, surgeries, treatment, rehabilitation, and follow-up care.
